2. Place the AutoMenus Pro Control Panel in your Control Panels Folder located inside your system folder.
Once you have registered AutoMenus Pro, or if you are a previously registered user, you'll want to enter your keycode so you can stop the nasty startup reminders. To enter your keycode, perform the following:
1. Open the AutoMenus Pro Control Panel.
2. When the registration dialog appears, enter your secret keycode and your name in the fields provided.
3. Press the 'OK' button.
4. When the dialog is dismissed, open the 'About' dialog. Your name should appear next to the "This copy registered to:" text in the dialog.
• AutoMenus Pro 1.1 Changes •
—Finally, after months of work, fixed the CEToolbox/NowToolbox imcompatibility problem.
—Can now select custom menu cursors.
—New "click" sound when selecting menu items.
—Fixed scrolling bug in Help dialog.
—Added item to AutoMenus Pro popup menu which opens the AutoMenus Pro Control Panel.
—New custom buttons in all windows.
***About the CEToolbox Bug***
At first, we thought it was the CEToolbox/NowToolbox extensions which were causing the impatibility (their special Apple menu items would not appear). However, after hours of debugging in MacsBug, the problem was found (at 1:54am on 27 Apr 1994). We send our humble apologies to all for taking so long fix this problem...it was a tough one! But basically a simple fix which makes it even worse. :-(
—Had to remove the code which made AutoMenus Pro more compatible with CEToolbox. This is because the additional code made AutoMenus Pro incompatible with Quadra 650/660 computers.
—AutoMenus Pro is more compatible with CEToolbox from CESoftware.
—New menu cursor feature.
—Went back to the keyware concept. This is better for new as well as old registered users since it is much easier to upgrade to a new version.
—AutoMenus Pro requires System 7.0 or later.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
For a short period of time, AutoMenus was being distributed under the name MightyMenus™. We later found out that the name MightyMenus™ was already being used by Atticus Software for one of their outstanding utilities in their Super 7 Utilities package. As a result we changed the name again to AutoMenus Pro.
Please don't confuse the products. AutoMenus Pro and MightyMenus™ from Atticus Software are completely different products and should work very well together. MightyMenus™ from Atticus Software provides Tear Off Menu capability to your Mac.
When using AutoMenus Pro with HAM from MicroSeeds, HAM must load before AutoMenus Pro. If HAM does not load first, then the AutoMenus Pro pop-up menu will not function properly. HAM can be made to load before AutoMenus Pro by renaming HAM to !HAM, or AHAM. As long as it is alphabetically ahead of AutoMenus Pro, HAM will load first.
